After days of negotiations and discussions, we are delighted to announce that the strike has officially come to an end. We extend our deepest gratitude to the members of our community, including our dedicated staff, passionate students, and supportive families, for their unwavering commitment throughout this challenging time. It is through our collective efforts and unity that we have reached a resolution.

As a result, we are excited to inform you that regular school operations will resume tomorrow, Monday, February 12th. We cannot wait to welcome everyone back with open arms and continue our journey of learning and growth together.

On day 3 of the CTU strike, we have over 185 (or 1/3) of our students in classes. Over 30 of our students crossed CTU’s blockade to attend the first day of our Emergency Medical Responder programming, and we expect additional students to join us this afternoon for the first day of our Pre-Basic Nursing Assistant programming. Our community values education without interruption! Contrary to what has been reported, there are licensed educators in the building who are working with them on educational programming, academic support, ESL classes (particularly for our newly arrived students who lack a safe space during the school day other than Instituto) and social emotional learning. We appreciate your continued support and endorsement of our efforts to continue to offer educational services despite the unnecessary CTU strike.

We remain committed to finding common ground and fostering a fair resolution for the benefit of all parties involved.
