IHSCA is excited to announce that we are partnering up with the Versiti Blood Center of Illinois to host a blood drive on our school campus! This event will take place on May 21st from 10:00am - 4:00pm. Please continue to read to learn how you can donate blood and make a difference!

IHSCA held our reading night on March 18th! It was an evening filled with wonderful stories as read by our IHSCA staff, students, and we had special guest appearances. One of our very own, Ms. Arcentales, showed her special creativity by sharing a puppet play in honor of our everyday heroes! A big thank you to our CEO Karina Ayala-Bermejo, Dr. Robert J Renteria, and author Victorino Torres Nava, for taking the time to share and read their stories and show the importance of reading. Another big thank you to our IHSCA Librarian Mrs. Arriaga for hosting and creating our reading night, we appreciate her hard work and dedication! In partnership with Chase Bank, IHSCA students participated in financial workshops to learn more about importance financial topics. Students learned about the importance of savings and credit. For the final workshop students participated in an in-person event at the school were students created vision boards! We hope our students enjoyed this great opportunity!
