We are proud of our student Emily Diaz whose art has been selected to appear on the Art on the Mart Art Exhibit! Her art will be projected on the Merchandise Art building in downtown Chicago. Great job and congratulations on the amazing art piece you created Emily!

Ms. Messenger and our IHSCA Zoology club have created informational posters about bird migration and what we can do to help. Students have noticed injured birds outside of the school building which is due to migratory birds flying into the windows of the school and is a common issue found throughout the city during migration seasons. Learn more about bird migration and the ways in which we can all help by taking a look at the two posters our IHSCA students have created! We are proud of the club's effort for bringing awareness to this.

Congratulations to you and welcome to the Instituto family! As the newest members of our community, you are our pride and joy! On behalf of the entire IHSCA community, I pledge that we will do everything possible to ensure that you develop your talents and interests to their fullest while you are here. IHSCA is a place where you can achieve your true potential, a place where you can realize your dreams. My advice to you is this: take advantage of this opportunity. Study hard, make new friends, and try new clubs and activities. Get to know your teachers and advisors. Sign up for our summer school after school programs. These experiences, and many others you will have during your time here, will prepare you to make your mark on the world. I look forward to getting to know you in the coming years as our students, and for decades to come as our alumni.

Instituto Health Sciences Career Academy was a host site for COVID vaccinations on Sunday May 16th. Over 500+ vaccines were given to our families and community. We our hopeful that this helps us inch one step closer towards being able to reunite with our students, staff, and IHSCA families here at our school. A special thanks to all those who volunteered their time to make this a very successful event! IHSCA is committed to making a great impact within our community and we will continue to do so by having these great opportunities be available to our families!
