Spring Break Is Here! No School March 25th - March 29th
Dear IHSCA Community,
Spring Break is finally here, and we encourage everyone to take this time to recharge, spend quality time with family and friends, and focus on your mental health.
Use this break to relax and rejuvenate so that you can return refreshed and ready to finish the school year strong. Classes will resume on Monday, April 1st. We look forward to welcoming you all back soon!

School Year 24-25 First Day of School and Last Day of School
Dear IHSCA Community,
As we prepare for the upcoming 24-25 school year, we are pleased to announce the following important dates for your calendars. The first day of school for students will be on Monday, August 26th, 2024. The last day of school for the 24-25 academic year will be on Thursday, June 12th, 2025. We encourage all students, parents, and staff to mark these dates and plan accordingly.

Celebrating Black History Month at IHSCA!
Throughout the past weeks, IHSCA immersed in learning and activities to honor and recognize Black History Month. The month started with a powerful MLK Tribute on WVON Radio, delivered by our student Mya Gallardo. Her inspiring words set the tone for our month of celebration and learning. Students also participated in after-school activities, including cookie decorating, movie nights with snacks, and a memorable field trip to the DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center. Successful Valentine's Dance! Amor y La Amistad at IHSCA
IHSCA recently hosted its second annual Valentine's Dance, creating a memorable evening for our students.
