Dear IHSCA Families,
Beginning on Monday, February 6th we will be shifting to a Mask-Optional model. This updated policy includes all students, staff, and guests of Instituto.
As we make this cautious transition, we will continue to monitor COVID-19 levels across the city and state. If we deem it necessary to go back to a mask-mandatory model, we will communicate accordingly.
Any Instituto team member, student, or guest that would like to continue wearing a mask inside Instituto buildings can certainly do so; please respect those that make this decision. Temperature checks, however, will remain mandatory for the time being.
Instituto will continue to follow all CDC guidelines, particularly in terms of COVID-19 exposure. For example, if you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 or experience symptoms yourself, please alert the school and stay home until you are COVID free.
