Dear IHSCA,
Please take note that the following expectations are put in place for the safety and security of our students.
Students that are in after school activities are not allowed to leave the building and come back. Recently, we have been on high alert with outside activity that continues to go on within our surrounding community.
On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, once students get their belongings, they should report directly to their activity’s location which should start promptly at 3:15pm.
On early release days, students that are staying for their activities should report to the cafeteria and will stay from 1:36pm – 3:00pm. It will be monitored by a designated staff member. Students can take advantage of the hot lunch program offered by our lunch provider which begins giving lunches at 2:30pm.
Students that may be struggling academically will report to the homework club to receive academic support on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Students should have their belongings on them and may carry it to their activity. Students should not be going to their lockers during their after-school activity to reduce hallway traffic and allow us to continue to monitor our student’s safety.
