Regarding Winter Sports - Boys & Girls Basketball - Boys & Girls Track & Field
Our current in season sports will continue to run as normal. Our student athletes that are participating in winter sports should continue to attend practices and sporting events. Please make sure you arrive on time to be ready to practice or compete. Students should arrive to the YMCA at least 15 minutes before the start of practice.
Mandatory Conditioning Program
In an effort to prepare our students mentally and physically to participate in their sport, student athletes must join our conditioning program. This program currently applies to student athletes that plan on playing the following sports:
- Boys and Girls Soccer
- Boys and Girls Volleyball
- Boys and Girls Track & Field
- Boys Baseball
- Girls Softball
The Conditioning Program schedule is down below. Conditioning takes place in the Rauner YMCA with Coach Leo. Come prepared and dress in clothes that let you comfortably exercise.
Monday - Tuesdays - Fridays: 3:00pm - 4:00pm
Wednesdays - Thursdays: 2:00pm - 3:00pm
Students that do not participate in conditioning will not have the opportunity to participate during their sport's season. At IHSCA we aim to prepare our student athletes to the best of our ability through hard work, commitment, and discipline.
