IHSCA will be going remote tomorrow, Friday Oct 22nd, as a PRECAUTION regarding COVID-19. Under current circumstances, we are aiming to resume regular operations and in-person instruction for Monday October 25th. If circumstances change, we will notify staff and students. We suspect that there was a false positive and will do our due diligence tomorrow with the suspected individuals. The follow up regarding the individuals will determine how we move forward next week. You will be informed tomorrow if we resume Monday. The expectation is that you transition to your Google classroom tomorrow for remote instruction.
Regarding our Homecoming Dance
We will move forward with our IHSCA Homecoming Dance for tomorrow evening due to the fact that precautious action steps have been taken to provide an environment that greatly reduces the chance of a COVID-19 spread. Mr. Mendez has ensured that all students that attend are either:
- Vaccinated and have submitted proof of their COVID-19 Vaccine
OR
- Took a COVID-19 test and provided a negative result
Students attending the dance are fully vaccinated and/or have already submitted a negative testing result for COVID-19. Thanks to these steps, we are confident that we can move forward with our Homecoming Dance.
Sincerely,
Dr. Alonzo
